The maternal death rate is the highest in the US of any developed country. Most of them are from the mother bleeding out, and 90% of those cases could be eliminated with standardized healthcare. They tried it in California and the rate of bleeding deaths went way down almost instantly. But apparently those results weren’t enough to make them take action across our entire country.
