7 years. he made me want to build a family with him. We are working for a better future for the children we once talked about, but in the middle of it, nalaman ko he was out there chasing other woman. And when i caught him his reason was ‘sinubukan ko lang, kung anong pakiramdam, kung paano’ and that shattered me. Durog na durog.

it was somewhat an argument before w my ex until i met the loml right now. first months we both agreed that we dont want kids of our own. almost our anniversary and we’re now jokingly arguing how he would spoil our kids w toys he didnt have when he was a kid, how would they go behind my back just to get some sweets and more toys esp “beyblades” and “gundam”

told him i don’t want to have kids, EVER. cats lang gusto kong anak, and sabi niya okay lang sakaniya. months and months after, tinatanong ko na siya nang tinatanong ng “paano kung yung anak natin” questions n i think napansin niya na panay ako tanong ng ganong questions sakaniya, sabi niya “diba sabi mo ayaw mo mag anak, bakit ganiyan tanong mo?” with his face lighting up, he was smiling n i think it was because he figured out na nagbabago na paunti unti yung isip ko about having kids.

i always had this vision na maging “rich tita” nalang because i never saw myself as a parent. i met this man, a family man and one who dreams on building a family of his own. before naging kami, i made it clear na i had no plans on having kids, instead of pushing the topic further or even umatras sa papasukin niya, he only said “okay, dogs and cats nalang?”. he respected my decision and didn’t push the matter any further. that’s when i realized i have a good man. now, the only thing i pray to God is for this man to be the only father of my kids and for me to bear him healthy children (i’m scared i might be infertile or baka mahirapang magbuntis 🥹). i guess that’s just how love works.
