Okay I’m gonna go off on a rant here, unpopular opinion but I get really annoyed when people who watch this anime completely missed the point of the Demons personality and everything and say them being monsters is some sort of racist undertone like it’s not and I’m not being ignorant. It’s like there’s a reason why they’re like this and the show even has an episode that goes out of the way of explaining the full process and like the biology behind why they are monsters and evil or at least antagonistic towards humans in that verse But then when you point it out to other people they turn around and call you racist. I’d understand if it was trying to use something to push a racist agenda but it’s not at least not in this situation and I’ve seen anime’s use lore in shows to push a racist agenda. This is not that. Demons in the show being just evil like you know they’re evil full stop Is the whole point it’s meant to be a throwback to the days where not every villain was sympathetic sometimes they were just evil point blank and that’s was it. What frieren does better is that they actually explain why they are considered monsters why they are evil there’s in lore reasons that they keep to as to why They’ll always be antagonistic and incompatible with everybody else. And for those who read the manga, they even delve into the thought process of Demons to show that even when they try to understand humans it comes out malicious or antagonistic for those very same in lore reasons as to why they’re considered monsters and evil

In this chapter Frieren has slim chances in terms of winning since she still don't know how to lift the curse inflicted by Macht, but if Frieren knows the spell that Serie give to Denken, a spell that can mirror back the curse to it's caster, then probably she can. If not, Frieren don't stand a chance.
