This has truly helped me with all of my years of Canning.. How to tell if your Propane tank is getting empty/low.. Pour warm water down the side of the tank. The propane will absorb the heat and the tank will feel cool where there is propane. Where the tank feels warm, it indicates that the propane level is lower.
