They had us write letters to active duty members and I (unknown autistic) made sure not to give any false promises or predictions and said “IF you make it home, I bet your family probably loves and misses you” 😩 my teacher told me my letter couldn’t be sent

My daughter was and is a little brainiac kid. When she was like 5 her favorite book was one of my nursing school books with diagrams of internal organs. For example, it showed the heart of a young person and then the heart of like an 80 yr old. My grandma came over and She couldn’t wait to show her this book. She said “grandma this is what your heart looks like bc you’re gonna die soon”. She’s still like this. Everything is facts. She’s 10 now and said I have cellulite bc I eat too many cheeseburgers and I sit too much. I’m over her 😂

Was talking to some kids going into 1st and kindergarten as I’m a counselor for a camp and I said “that’s a nice dog!” She said back “yeah! My dogs dead!” With a giant smile on her face and another has better handwriting than me

We were asked in first grade to make sympathy cards for a classmate who lost their grandparent. I didn’t know better and drew a headstone that said “here lies Grandma” and the teacher got sooooo mad at me.

When I had cancer my kids made me cards (teacher 4th grade) and one of them said their dog had cancer and died and they hope I do better than their dog. 😳😢😂

I had kind and 1st write Christmas letters to my brothers platoon one year-I read th before sending and almost died. The teachers clearly didn’t proof read. Several said “merry Xmas, I hope you don’t get shot in the head a die” 😭 with graphic pictures. Soldiers loved it though lmao
