hey guys btw tools don’t need to be sterilized in an autoclave to be safe. disinfecting them in barbicide is sufficient. we’re nail techs, not surgeons

If only some of you saw what’s really happening behind sterilising in “professional salons” you all would run to home based nail tech 😭

Yall freaking out over no autoclave, while it is a good thing to have around, barbecide is a strong chemical disinfectant and can do just fine to disinfect the tools. So I mean unless yall wanna buy this creator an autoclave, stop complaining

Unless there was blood on the tool, there’s no need to sterilize

Where do y’all live??? Where it is not the law to STERILIZE your implements??? 😭 you can still pass on viruses from person to person only disinfecting with barbicide. DISINFECTION≠STERILIZATION! Autoclave or CS20 immersion are only options for tools such as these

A Freaking Spongebob Reference :
autoclaves didn't become widely use in nail salons until the mid 2000s. while it's great to take advantage of modern technology to have the best hygiene practices possible, this was considered the ideal way since the 40s up until very recently. there are still plenty salons around that don't use an autoclave, since it's not required everywhere. I don't think everyone's fingers were falling off from infection until the mid 2000s. I think it's fine.

Love that you are cleaning your tools!! Just make sure to wear gloves and correctly measure your barbicide. Adding a small amount doesn’t do anything to it really. Wearing gloves will prevent you from getting contact dermatitis 🤍🤍
