I'm 45 and the complete opposite is happening. Period every 3 weeks and it's becoming a quality of life issue because I can't leave my house the 1st 2 days of my period.

I’m now a 23-24 day cycle which means I’m bleeding every two weeks. I also spot during ovulation. Every 3 or 4 cycles now, my body’s like ‘I reckon we can get this done in one day’. Wild times. Looking forward to the more traditional symptoms

I never skipped a period, just suddenly started having VERY heavy periods, and worse cramps than ever before. I would have sudden gushes that would look like a murder scene. It was affecting my daily life. Had a partial hysterectomy and it was the BEST thing I ever did!
