@retrorewind80s: GenX Rants: Kids These Days are SOFT!! 😱 It's true - I used to walk five-miles to school, uphill, both ways...in the snow. And that was in Hawaii. 🌴🥥 I love all of the posturing a lot of the GenX influencers do online, but when you look at them you know they were the coddled ones as kids. Oh, and that absolutely includes me 🤣 Yes, I raised myself because my parents were never home; yes, I started working after school and on weekends (and full time during the summer) when I was 12; yes, I graduated from high school at 15 and moved from Hawaii to New York on my own with no money...but it was to comic book school, so that's not a good flex. I wasn't tough...although, I think my teenage self would F-Up any teen in today's world. They're even softer than I was. Give me your favorite GenX/80s Kids Flex in the comments below.
