The fact is modern players run and exert a lot more nowadays and 82 games with all the back to backs is too much for their bodies regardless of how much they are paid. We want them to be healthy and play every game? We have to lessen the games

must be a terrible feeling to make millions of dollars a year playing basketball :/ i don’t blame players one bit for thinking that the season should be shortened. too much work for not enough compensation

I dont understand the too many games take from a viewer, you dont have to play any of em or watch all of em, and MLB teams play 162 games each but somehow that’s never mentioned as too many? it’s always just coming from an nfl fan who moderately enjoys basketball and only watches playoffs

The NBA needs to be split into two tiered leagues with promotion and relegation. Top 3 teams move up, bottom 3 move down. That would make the regular season matter, because now it doesn’t. A team can be 40 games in and know the rest of the regular season doesn’t matter.

Oh no, played 2 games of 2.5 hours each in just over 24 hours, had some plane problems and didn’t get in until 6am in between games. Some of us 12 hour shifts for most of the week!

Just start the season sooner and end it later and keep the same amount of games but with an elongated calendar you’ll eliminate back to backs.

I haven’t watched basketball in 10 years. 10 years ago I said they should play 60 games max and people called me crazy. That’s why the numbers are so bad now
