My 07 Toyota Camry 170K miles same issue replaced PCV valve still consuming 1 quart every week and a half!! Mechanic told me to replace the valve cover and do an engine wash with ATF oil for like 5 minutes and change oil!! What do you think? any input would be appreciated 👍 thanks 🙏

I had a 2005 Aygo for 3 years, every 15K KM new oil + filter(s). Never had to top up or neither did it have any problems. I now last week bought a 2020 Corolla Touring Hybrid 1.8, in the manual it says every 15K KM, and it has been serviced by the dealer every 15K KM. What do you advise? Oil for my Corolla is 0w16 or 0w20 full synthetic.

these early 2.5s were known for oil consumption, mine is due to the camshaft and needs basically a new engine. to solve it, just constantly have to add more oil

The MOA works good with friction on my Honda pilot but does nothing on gas mileage. I’ve changed out everything just about to try to get better gas mileage. It may be the ethanol gas I’m having to run causing some of the issue.

But an extra $50 bucks is buy the oil and filter all over again in one can. Went from $100 to 150 plus tax just maintain your intervals more frequently

I think before the piston ring give up especially if the engine is driven on low oil level the valve steam seal are the first one to go out the made are of rubber

my sonata has this issue and changed the pcv valve. it seems to come and go so not sure if it's fixed yet but I'm praying. carfax shows the previous owners changed it like every 10k miles
