My BROTHER so her uncle, not her dad told my daughter she’s not allowed to get tattoos. Freshly 18 and has a handful I’ve taken her anytime she’s asked. Her body her choice. We also got matching ones together for Mother’s Day

Her body. Her choice. My wife has tattoos and I was against it at first but it wasn't my choice so I switched gears and helped her design her first one. She was so excited. I don't like some she has now but it's not my body, and I don't love her any less for it.

My grandmother (who helped raise me) literally called tried to chew out the salon when I was 17 and cut my hair “too short.” I paid with money that I earned at my job too.🙄 (It took a lot to build boundaries with her that were healthy, but we got there…eventually.)

my mom was with my for my first tattoo she did think i was gonna back out but i didn't i was 18 btw my dad has 7 tattoos i have 2 now my mom has two now as well and well my sister will probably get one to when she turns 18 next year

I'm 25, my grandmother recently asked if I could wait until she's dead to get more then the two I already have on my upper arm, mind you the two I have come with a very strong nostalgia reasons behind them and in a way also honor my grand aunt who introduced me to video games and the spyro series as a whole
