Hope everyone is rescued, These fires are little suspicious, it’s not like it’s been hot dry spring, I hope they investigate how these fires started where indigenous people live, is this all because “some” want to break up Canada, separate some provinces? Lots of questions!

"If it were a rich white man in danger, every rotor from the Army, RCMP, Coast Guard, Border Services, the news, and private search and rescue outfits like Ornge, Helijet, and Yellowhead would already be in the sky. The whole damn air cavalry." Asked him if dangerous at night. His response... "see that something I dont get I the Infantry they usually fly us in a combat zone at night and now it's to dangerous 🤔" GET YOUR ACT IN GEAR...and save these ppl!

My father is part of the crew of those 2 helicopters that are working there as we speak. They are doing everything they can and have been since they got there on Thursday. More helicopters and a Chinook are on their way.

In 2019-20 Mallacoota (Vic, Australia) was isolated by high temp wildfires & ~4000 ppl had to take refuge on the beaches &in water. If it comes to that: take life jackets, floatation devices, masks for smoke, fire blankets, don’t overload boats, try to organise to keep track of everybody. It’s easy to lose a person in water, especially with smoke &chaotic conditions.

helos are working to get people out but it is slow progress and the smoke hinders air traffic. the Canadian Forces have also been deployed to try and help and Chinook helicopters are on their way. The Province and the military are doing everything they can to help people get out safely. people don't understand how isolated and remote these communities are and it's not as easy as just flying planes in and flying people out. on top of this there are several other large communities being evacuated at the same time so resources are stretched.
