@pepper.steps: SAVE to try before yer next hike/run! (also follow along video is on yt eek!!) i never though that i’d ever call myself a “runner,” especially given how passionate i have been throughout my life about weightlifting and building up muscle. i was led to believe that cardio was the ENEMY! Love the stretches. Most of the time I walk for a while at the beginning of the trail so I don’t do static stretches completely cold. There’s a chance of actually injuring yourself performing static stretches without adequate blood flow to certain muscles like your hamstrings

Yesterday was a 34k step workout with a 25lb pack, in 4:30. ...Had just around a month of time from when they announced it, and I'm usually middle distance. Today we all about the static stretching and rollouts, but that hopping around stuff is gonna wait for a few more!
