geldings have always been more sassy than mares to me! every mare I’ve met has been such a wonderful, affectionate, well behaved horse. They’re definitely less of “everyone’s friend” and need to know you a little more and bond with you a little more, but I just love mares sm I am biased LOL

I’ve only ever had a mare. I had her from 7/8 until she passed last year. She LOVED me but she wasn’t a fan of everyone. She would spin in circles when my dad tried to get on her 😂
