i did this for a year straight and then one night i woke up at 2am n my ear was in such bad pain literally worse than any pain i’ve ever felt physically it was worse than when i snapped my leg in HALF bro. i eventually js woke my dad up at 6am bc it js kept getting worse and when i went to the er they told me its from having my headphones in too much and sleeping with them in my ear drum had busted and i had media in my ear and now im 75% deaf in that ear (i only kept one airpod in btw) and everytime its cold or windy the pain comes back
