As a prosthetic user myself it’s THOSE sort of comments are what has always made me hide mine away. It’s sad that people (grown adults as well!) can’t educate themselves. It’s usually the same ones that preach about mental health .. *sigh*

That comment was not it. It still blows my mind that 8/10 times it’s adults that will make rude comments about people with disabilities, not kids. Ugh. It’s frustrating that people don’t even take a second to educate themselves.
