@al.brady: Shito is Ghana's favourite Hot Sauce! And after attempting it myself, I could see why. I knew it had to be the first episode of my new series. So let me welcome you to 'HOT AF: Hot Sauce From Around The World!' Shitor is totally different from any Hot Sauce I've had before. It has such a rich depth of flavour. It's super complex with lovely smokey and umami notes. And heat wise it packs a real punch! Traditionally Shito is made with kpakpo shito peppers. Unfortunately for mine I just could not get hold of any, so I used Scotch Bonnets as a substitute. But if anyone can get me a source of the real thing, I would love to get my hands on them! There's also a couple of other special ingredients that give Shito it's unique flavour. Try this Shito with meat, fish, vegetables. As a spread, dip or just a sauce on a side! Store in the fridge with a good layer of oil on top to keep it fresher for longer. BUT It is incredibly delicious so I don't think it's going to last too long.
