Luffy, in contrast, never allows the world to define him. His freedom is innate, infectious, and ethical. Ambos quieren la libertad para ellos y sus amigos pero no tenían las mismas opciones. Eren creció en un mundo oprimido y de odio sin acceso a opciones, mientras que Luffy nace en un mundo Injusto pero no como víctima directa del sistema, no busca venganza sino vivir según su sueño y su objetivo nace de ellos; el objetivo de Eren nace de una cadena de odio racial, él se tuvo que sacrificar como demonio mientras Luffy se convierte en un símbolo de libertad. Eren no tuvo espacio para soñar solo de sobrevivir y Luffy soñó sin cadenas y por eso pude liberar a otros sin perderse a sí mismo. Ya había debatido de esta similitud, me gusta agregar a Lelouch de Code Geas. Él tuvo más opciones, privilegiado pero victima, en vez de pelear con el sistema (Luffy) o destruirlo (Eren), el lo cambió. Su sueño nace de la venganza y la justicia, no se sacrifica como demonio sino como simbolo del un mal sistema, se vuelve un martir por la libertad.

Eren's dream was discrimitory while everyone was equal in Luffy's eyes. True freedom doesn't discriminate, which is why Eren could've achieved it, he put one's freedom over the other.

Eren and Luffy are both very interesting characters. From the moment they were born, they wanted to be free. Luffy wants to be a pirate, while Eren wants to get out of the Walls. Eren was taught how scary the outside world is, and Garp constantly hit Luffy, trying to drill into his head that he should become a Marine. Luffy sees Sabo die, which shows him how dangerous his dream is. Eren saw people outside the Walls die, showing him how dangerous it is to be in the Scout Regiment. Yet both of them still choose to follow their dreams.
