Friendly reminder. My uncle is a retired mater gunnery sergeant. If you don’t know what that is, it’s the HIGHEST RANK IN ELIST. The highest rank on the field. Guess what his retirement pay is. Go on. I’ll give yall a minute. Okay ready to guess? 800 a month. That’s what the government gives him when he was in Iran and two other wars. On the line in countries. 800 a month. They don’t give a shit about anyone, not even high ranks.

THIS. I just got out after 8 years. Don't join. Literally have so many sleep disorders and I had a mini stroke from stress. I was 21 when it happened. The military is NOT worth it.
