![Recreating Lizzy Bennet's Updo from the Netherfield Ball in the 2005 Pride & Prejudice 🦢🕊️ [ Part 02 — The Updo ] 🗝️🎼 Note: This is a two part series as it is rather complex! You will need many bobby pins (more than imaginable, a curling wand and a good hairspray for this look) 01. 🧺 I start by gathering a section of hair above my ear to create a fishtail braid that will be used as a crown — Then I do the other side so I have two braids. 02. 💆🏼♀️ I gather up the front sections of my hair and then pull out all of the little facial framing pieces which will be curled up later. 03. 🌹🐑 Next is the pinning process. Remember, this does not have to be perfect as you go!! I find it easiest to start with the two sections of hair around the face/top of head and create two rosettes by wrapping the hair around my finger, rolling up the curl and then pinning it in place. 04. 🎻 I repeat this process all over my head. I try to do smaller sections of curls to create the same look as the movie which almost shows all of these individual rolls of curls all over her head piled up. 05. 🐟 I then pull each fishtail braid over my head to the opposite side and pin it above the ear at the base of the other braid to create the braid crown. 06. ➰ I curl the baby hairs around my face and nape of my next to mimic the bangs shown in the film. 07. 🦪🤏🏼 I added a few more bobby pins in a few places to make sure everything was held in place and then added the decorative shell pins — in the original look they use pearl bobby pins which I'm sure are available somewhere on the internet to buy ✨ 08. 💨🔒 Lock this all in with lots of hairspray and voila!! your regency-inspired look is ready. . . . #regencyera #janeausten #regencycore #cottagecore #hairtok #weddinghair #prideandprejudice #lizzybennet #curls #curlinghair #volumehair #updo #weddinghairinspo #oldfashionedhair #georgianera #elizabethswann #englishliterature #prideandprejudice2005](/video/cover/7533638064996928798.webp)
