My best friend and her boyfriend were k*lled while camping in AZ. Lisa Gurrieri and Brandon Rumbaugh...This is so tragic. They still have yet to find who did it. Happened 21 years ago. Her mom passed and got no closure. 💔

Az person here. They were two teens found outside of Maricopa between the I-17 and state route SR-86 (I think I have that right) on the road to payson. I’m not exactly sure who is responsible but police are treating this as an active homicide case. It’s truly sad seeing this on the news here and I can only imagine what their families feel. These were beautiful children and may their souls find peace in the next life.

I live in AZ - These kids went camping and were found shot to death. The road they took and the area they were in were rough (had to know it was there) type camping. Someone knew they were up there and went to kill them. Or they were preyed on by a random individual who understood the remoteness of the area and the chances of being immediately caught were very low. May they both rest in peace. 🕊

Like tbh no one expected this to happen cuz the school she went to was Arcadia it was a decent school good education so it sounds off that it’s in relation to other crimes n even if there was any correlation to other crimes they didn’t use the same method I feel like there would be a pattern to link like there’s already so much crime not just in Arizona but everywhere so it could be different people acting out but you never know until everything is laid out completely but what happened to those kids was tragic not just because they lost their life, n their future but also this isn’t the first time the schools lost their own n every-time it’s happened caused a lot of heartbreak n pain like I didn’t know these kids but I graduated a year before them at the same school so hearing about it was like a whole flashback but again this whole thing never should’ve happened the way it did

There have been several murders over the years in that area up north. All three of them including this one were young couples k*lled the same way! First one was in the 70s. So weird and horrible
