Poodles are made of pure muscle it's just hidden by the fluff. They're also scarily intelligent, like scarily. My fam has a spoodle (cocker spaniel cross) and she defo leans poodle, girl cannot be trusted if a bird lands in out yard cus she is on them in less than 3 seconds. We love her but I will never think of poodles as anything less than a hunting breed after having her, she's built with the muscles of a fucking horse whist being the size of a cat.

poodles are the sweetest and scariest dogs I have ever seen. I have seen my 65lbs husky take down a rottie but my sisters poodle who she got 2 years ago and is the cuddliest, sweetest dog I have ever met laid him out faster than I could blink when he stepped out of line. (All dogs were okay in these situations, my dog was reactive after the rottie and we were working on resocializing him after that and she corrected him during play, he snapped at her - first time he had done that in months - and she pinned him before any of us humans could move)

poodles are such an underrated dog. great hunting and protection dogs , and they can look fabulous while doing it PLUS surprise factor 🥰 and , most of the standards are still well bred and mentally sound so the likelihood of finding a well bred poodle is drastically greater than a German shepherd where all they have is *anxiety* 😂

Poodles were bred for hunting for food. Taking down animals more then 3x their size, amazing scent recognition and just focus in general. Buttttt…. When they are UNTRAINED it never makes me happy to see one. They are definitely BEASTS who need some structure, thats what the TRAINING is!!!

i know so well witnessed poodles and golden retriver attacking badly other dogs. i dont trust dogs based on their race but based on how well behaved them and their owner is, tho i must say smaller dogs for obvious reason pose a smaller threat
