I'm a commercial coordinator and back in March, I was on a job looking for a stage in Hollywood. When I reached out to one of my favorite stages I was shocked to hear they had gotten rid of all their stages in LA and relocated to Texas. 😳

Maybe it’s because tv is completely different now and we don’t have 22-23 episodes. Tv shows used to film episodes as they were released so they would be in set longer. Plus we could get shows for 5+ seasons. Now they can just film the 8 episodes in 2-3 months and then cancel a show before anyone can watch it

Mr. Patrick I’m sorry to say that the television industry was no longer concerned about entertaining the people as much as pushing an agenda. They lost us and now they are suffering because they forgot who their customers are.

Australian here. I trained for 6yrs, Television Production and Media and Communications, only for most TV &Film jobs to be automated. Jibs, drone cam, spider cam, even audio is all done by 3 people now and a OB Van

Unions once destroyed all the industry in the UK and mass unemployment followed. We saw it again and again across different industries unions seem like a good idea but they never work out.
