I had one of these kinds of books as a kid. I loved it, core memory for so many of those motor skills. My mom still has it for the grandkids

Besides the fact that a lot of the content on apps like YouTube and YouTube kids is extremely weird and shouldn’t be seen by kids (I work in ABA and the kids are allowed a certain amount of tablet time and YouTube kids is SO weird), the devices also have blue light that with so much exposure, hurts your eyes. I should know, my eyes hurt right now

I have an Amazon tablet for my kiddo for long car rides, she likes her own music and ms Rachel.. other than that she doesn’t get it unless I wanna watch my show and it’s her time to have some learning time with ms Rachel. But I hardly watch my own shows.. lol

My younger siblings were tablet children and after seeing how it affected them, my bf and I both agreed we will not be giving our daughter a tablet. A tablet is not a babysitter.

my younger sister and my neice are the same age (my dads a 304 lmao) anyway my sister will SCREAM and attempt to snatch any and every screen she sees, she’s lacks communication skills and she’s almost 5. my neice has never had a screen and has better communication skills, and doesn’t throw half as many fits as my sister. tablets are the issue and yall are not ready for that conversation.
