First of all there is only 8 nails in the foot as a normal keg shoe. the other nails are in the stacks alone. the stacks are made of a leather pad and plastic stacks. The shoes are only on during show season and off during the off season.

Can we get an update on each horse you make a video on? I see nothing about him after this long. I’ve seen other rescues take in a ton of new animals then euthanize them behind the scenes if it’s a lot of money or work to rehab, where the update on this horse?

There are not "65 nails holding this on" the nail pad is nailed to the foot with your standard 8 nails. Then placed on top of the package with nails running downward around the edge. 8 nails in the foot. That's it. Educate yourself before you spread falsehoods.

He can be brought down slowly with wedges. He will need a form of pain medication, and a really good body worker. That limping could very well be from mainly the thrush; if you can smell it just being near it, that can be very painful deep into the central sulcus. If you know a facility with a pool this guy would benefit from hydro therapy as he starts to feel better and that thrush gets addressed.
