I wish more electricians actually took pride in their work. Use some pvc and protect that wire it’s not hard, where’s your disconnect at the meter? It’s not the 80s anymore.

They don’t wanna do that because they don’t wanna be responsible? Got it. There’s a reason lineman wear gloves when putting these things in to and stand to the side not directly in front of it.

My only 2 cents is when I throw meters and put them back I never stand directly in front of it always to the side.

Duct Tape? 🤔🤔 Code please? BTW you can't use Duct Tape. because if there's a Crack on that sleeve we need to know about it. it could be a Fire hazard and we will never know.

Put meter in wrong though he definitely hasn’t seen a meter blow off then, start bottom st he says but always stand to the side when slamming it home

Stop I’ve changed thousands of meters need to test properly for backfeed wear Ppe etc. I’ve seen faces blown off stick to wiring outlets

Just need to ring out the secondary side of the meter base and that will tell you if there is a dead short. No short means no boom
