pov: you want to make an easy and beautiful birthday cake🎂 (recipe below)  Pavlova is crunchy on the outside and marshmallowy on the inside! It literally tastes like a crunchy vanilla cloud! 🫶🏻☁️🤎 The 5 SIMPLE ingredients: 1. 4 egg whites  2. 1 1/4 cup of white sugar 3. 1 tsp vanilla extract 4. 1 tsp lemon juice 5. 2 tsp cornstarch  (Optional: add heavy whipped cream & raspberries on top!)  Instructions: 1. First separate, the egg whites from the egg yolks. 2. Next add the egg whites to a mixer on medium heat and when they start to slightly foam up at a tbsp of sugar. Continuously, keep adding the sugar one tbsp at a time at a gradual pace. 3. You’ll see the batter starts to form a white, thick & glossy consistency! After you’ve added all the sugar put it on the highest speed for about 30 more seconds and than turn the blender off. (Tip: your pavlova is the perfect consistency if when you flip it over & nothing spills!)  4. Next, with a spatula, gently fold in the vanilla extract, lemon juice & cornstarch.  5. Preheat your oven to 290 °F.  6. As your oven if preheating, you can either pour the mixture and make a classic circular pavlova, or you can place it in a piping bag and create a number or shape! I recommend drawing/printing the number/shape under the baking sheet. 7. Bake for one hour. DO NOT open the oven at any point to peak! Leave the meringue to rest for a couple hours or overnight after baking.  8. After the cake has rested overnight top it with heavy whipped cream & raspberries!
