cookie run fans are genuinely unpleasable. back when dark cacao & golden cheese’s beast yeast chapters had released, fans had complained about how similar it was & that they wanted more variety within the story .. now the moment that they’re getting more variety with character relationships & not just “good guy punch bad guy!” it’s suddenly.. bad again? & im not even saying that the first two chapters were simply “good guy punch bad guy”, that’s just how they had interpreted it because they cannot see complicated concepts between two soul-bounded people.

people want to hate on the ship so bad that they actively ignore what's happening in the story 😭 I'm literally so disappointed in the fandom because I thought that they would at least acknowledge Eternal Sugar is in love with Hollyberry considering that it's QUITE LITERALLY SAID IN THE STORY BUT! NOPE! And now they just hate on the story and act like there was no build up when this was literally the logical place to take Eternal Sugar's character. The hint of admiration/interest was there SINCE episode 9, not only that but the posts they would make hinted at eternal wanting to be around Hollyberry. I’d understand people saying she was manipulating Hollyberry to get her gaurd down, but when Hollyberry left the garden Eternal wasn’t even MAD about the souljam, she just gave those “blessings” wanting Hollyberry to come back to her so that she can prove her garden will give Hollyberry her “true happiness”
