I'd keep an eye on those fake coral. Betta can be careless when it comes their own fins and if you notice rips then it's better to take them out

You should add some frogbit or red root floaters!! Floating plants are great in betta tanks I would just stay away from duckweed!

You did great getting a rectangular tank the circle tanks stress them out and feel more unsafe, the new tank is great the plants are perfect too just make sure the decor isn't sharp enough for the fish to accidentally rip his fins
