Want to mention Chinese city sizes are misleading. Their cities are more like US counties. Shanghai is about the size of the US state of Delaware, while Chingqing is about the size of Maine. So yes, they are extremely densely populated, but comparing, say, Beijing (6500 sq miles, 1k sq bigger than Connecticut) to NYC (468 square miles) doesn’t make sense.

China is the only civilization that has not been interrupted until now. This is due to the fact that China invented writing thousands of years ago and used writing to record history. Ancient historians (officials who recorded various events) would even be killed for violating the emperor's orders in order to write true history. Therefore, most of China's history is true. Moreover, Chinese has evolved as a hieroglyphic language to this day, and we can even read and understand articles written by our ancestors thousands of years ago.

Did you research this exclusively on Wikipedia? How many military bases of a certain foreign country surrounds China, many in the South China Sea with missiles pointed at the mainland? You don’t think that’d be the “excuse” China ups its military budget? You literally mentioned ancient China built a wall to keep outsiders in. Culturally China has never been expansionist in the way that European yt colonists were.

As someone with a masters in Chinese studies, who studied and traveled across China many times, I appreciate your video but I'm downright appalled by some of the comments. In the West we hear about propaganda in dictatorships only to apparently completely ignore we're victims of the same propaganda, still believing in our own superiority.
