Can you plz explain how this even becomes a safe food option ? If they are fed correctly from the beginning how would they know this exists ? Super confusing how they have even come to know this is a food 😳

autistic children have very high nutrition needs that part of the disorder....please do t feed him this way because it's easier in the short term

Why has this got me crying 😭😭 im still trying to understand my autistic son. It’s hard trying to understand something you know nothing about, but wel get there. He lives of co co pops and chicken nuggets. People in these comments DO NOT HAVE A CLUE. I’m a parent of an autistic child and even I don’t have a clue still. All these people in the comments 🤬🤬🤬

My little girl doesn’t have autism but a very fussy Eater and the doctor keeps telling me just give her what she’ll eat, did tell me to try vitamins but she won’t have them xx

my ASD daughter was the same lived on nuggets and chips ....now at 14 she'll eat anything that is put in front of her and always wanting to try new things 😊😊🥰just gotta give them time to make the choice themselves 😊

Yh this is right you carnt force a child to eat as parents of autistic autistic child it is very difficult to feed them at the best of times and mine will make himself sick so he can eat wat he wants dont care what people say at least i know he eat

I’m a grown woman and I cook dinners for my family but I have autism and adhd and I can’t eat what they eat and I kinda eat the same foods everyday that I like. My parents forced me when I was younger to eat their dinners and i absolutely hated it and made me hate food.

My child's doc said "you are lazy you don't like to cook, that's your fault she is a picky eater" while i cooked n baked all recepies from five different kids special cook book n tried all i can find online, i was struggling a narcissist husband abuse,he was lying us like we have no money to spend on even basics, i was 42 years old when i finaly found out 5 of my relatives including my daughter n me are autistic,now i know it's not my fault

An amazing mummy ♥️👏 bed eating and safe foods for the win, crumbs can be hoovered, beds can be changed, he has a full tummy that’s all that matters 🥰 to the people writing negative comments - take time out your day to education yourself on autism just incase you end up in our shoes one day 🧩 x

unfortunately all these people saying they disagree probably don't have the daily struggles that us mums with an autistic/ Arfid child do. I'm currently facing a battle with my child with possible Arfid and autism. each day is a struggle but shes fed and happy! I have been told by professionals she could be eating much worse foods for her safe foods! keep doing you and your little one is happy that all that matters. xx

my boy loves hotdogs too... he'd have em every day if I gave em to him. it's ok to give same old food...if they luv it and eat it , it's all that matters...👍 I understand how it's almost impossible for them to try new stuff, it almost scares them...they luv anything familiar...autism in our house is about living routine and all things familiar... you're doing great mun👍❤️
