I have 1, she’s 8 now and we have a blast together. We travel, she has tons of friends and family. I feel very fulfilled as a mother and giving her the best life. We did try for #2 but it didn’t work out.

16 month age gap. Currently have a 2 month old and a toddler that can’t talk yet and could NOT get through the days without help from my husband, mom, and MIL.

Been having these same feelings lately. I want another baby but the stress of having another baby is such a heavy weight 🙃 my boy is about to be one. Debating trying for the second after I wean him.

I have a 3 year age gap with my kids and it is the best!! At 3 my oldest could understand this is a baby and can be gentle and wants to help! Also at 3 they are a little more independent. I’m a stay at home mom and solo parent a lot it is hard. But when baby is a little older they play with each other and it is soooo nice. Having two kids is the best you won’t regret it.

I will say it was easier for me to raise the two kids 11 months apart. When I had my youngest the age gap was 8 years and I do not recommend. Finding activities everyone was happy with was so difficult.

I LOVE having 2 kids. However, they’re 4 years apart and I wish I had my second sooner. The age gap itself is beautiful BUT waiting that long in between wasn’t great for my mental health. I had just found myself again after my first when I decided to have another one and now have to find myself all over again…that’s hard

we’re 10 months into a 17 month age gap. Some days are hard & chaotic, but overall it’s been pretty good for us. Their bond is so inevitable incredible to watch unfold. But postpartum for me has still been a journey

14 month age gap. Do NOT do NOT do NOT do that intentionally. Husband travels and I’m on day 9 of 10 solo parenting. At this point someone’s going to have to drag me over the finish line 🤣

I have two under three, my oldest was 2.5 when my newborn was born. I like this gap because my toddler understands a lot. She has a good amount of independence and she helps with her brother. We also travel as a family for my husband’s job.

I’m literally right here with your sister!!! Taking it one day at a time but I agree - 2.5 MINIMUM but ideally 3 year age gap sounds more doable if we’re not one and done 😂

So what’s gonna happen is your first gets a little easier and you get a little comfy and kinda forget how much the first part kinda sucks 🤪 mine are 2yrs 10mos apart! I like the gap, he loves his baby sister, and now that my little is one and the naps align again it’s like a whole new world

My second was a surprise when my oldest was 16 months old and I cried I was not ready. 😳 I thought I was done but then decided to have a 3rd 4 yrs later. Then a 4th four years later 😂 I do wish we would have stopped at 3. We have 4 sons hoped for a girl but we’re definitely done ✅ they are now 17,14,10,6 🥰

I only have one right now but we will be trying for and possibly adopting another baby. I am an only child and it is great when you’re a kid. Because you get attention and all the things But then you grow up and you have you watch your family shrink before your eyes and it is so horrible. Give them someone to lean on when you’re old and be the person they lean on. Give your grandkids the possibility of having cousins. Go for at least 2. This is my advice and strongly held oppnion you are free to do as you wish.

Mine are 17mo apart. Just now 2yrs and a 7mo old. Some days are bad, most aren’t. It’s usually towards the end of the day when they’re both exhausted and I’m exhausted that I feel overwhelmed and outnumbered. She’s trying to play with him a lot, he loves it but can’t quite play back yet.

3/4 is a sh*t show, don’t do three years 😂 the larger the age gap though the harder it becomes for them to play as they get older. At 2, it’ll be “easier” - can I say that 😭💀 but losing your identity is so real. With your second, get a 4moms gliding bassinet. They are a dream for sleeping.

I have a 4 year old. I’ve put off another every year because every year is a new transition of difficulty in parenting. At this point, I’m thinking she’ll be an only child.
