I feel like the result is overshadowing the action a little bit. The result being… basically nothing. Russell didn’t get damage or injured or anything. But the action of intentionally driving into a competitor only net a 10 second penalty… same as Albon got and less than Russell got in Monaco for leaving the track and gaining an advantage. So, are we saying that getting mad and intentionally ramming a competitor is no worse than anything else as long as nothing bad happens? If next race someone intentionally hits Max (or anyone else) and causes a DNF or injury, is a 10 second penalty fair for them? Or is the FIA just going to give penalties out after worse things happen?

I think the 10 second was ok but the 3 penalty points for divebomb intentional despite charles squeezing him and hitting him and george divebombing him and hitting him deserve something too. Either no divebombs in racing or divebomb away

What do you mean no consequences? He finished p10 and he's on the verge of a racing ban, he lost a ton of points and is risking skipping an entire weekend, if that's not a consequence what is? Does he need to be publicly executed for it to be an actual consequence?

I remember Vettel hitting Hamilton on purpose all he get was a time penalty as well and nobody really seemed to care, it never got this much attention.

For me to make it interesting if they have those little races, they should compete for pole position and then when it’s time for the short race reverse all the pool positions, Max starts at the end

without max it’s oscar p1 lando p2 there would be zero fighting oscar was literally cooling he’s tires while lando was pushing then when he got close he left him his pace is just better than lando with less errors
