Kim Jong Un grand father helped found the country after fighting the Japanese occupation. People there have a lot of respect for the Kim family so he is a popular pick for the WPK. The DPRK is still a relatively young state.

You’ve probably made a video like this before but like can we get a full run down on what NK is actually like without the western propaganda? I am hesitant to believe both the western propaganda but also the pro NK stuff

this reminds me of a song.
communists will hold put lessons
and then call you to elections
but by election you understand
to elect when you have someone to elect
but with communist you elect even when you have no one to elect
you chose just the ones chosen by them

Tymon "pvlmv" Palmar :
It's really not much different from most of the systems that were in place in the eastern block. The ruling party functions as an oligarchy and all decisions are made only with the acceptance of the political bureau. You should read the "open letter to the party". North Korea is not democratic, it's not socialist, It's not leftist. It's an authoritarian oligarchical state.
