you guys dont get it, this is open source and decentralized, NOBODY will see your message but you and the recupient, not even the government. and its not a honeypot, everyone and anyone can see the source code, also you build the device yourself with parts you source, meshtastic is awesome

How secure is it. What prevents a man in the middle? If everyone can see the code what prevents exploits? If I know your hashing algorithm and salt process what stops me from performing a simple dictionary attack on the hashed data that’s being sent? Is the key stored in the information that is sent? Is it a two part key?
