@clairedouglasstyling: DIY resin-bound path questions! . These are the top questions I get asked about this project. . The DIY resin-bound kits I used are 100% permeable, so as long as you install them over a permeable or free draining sub-base then you won't get puddles or pools on the surface or water backed up in the resin-bound gravel. This is obviously great news for the winter time as no one wants their path to freeze up and turn into an ice rink. . If you install over an impermeable surface you’ll need to add some drainage channels (or at least gaps under the edging for drainage) and it helps if the path is on a slight slope like mine was as drains freely anyway. .
