starting at 180 is wild. there is really no reason to start anywhere below 800 grit on plastic lenses.

quick fix, short lived results. I've done that and 6 months later they are back to cloudy and yellow. only way is to 500grit, 800grit and clear coat them. done it on multiple cars 5-6 years ago and still look new
