“Mahalaga” is from “halaga” which is like “harga” in Indonesian. We can say “Aku menghargaimu” to express “I value you” or “I appreciate you” but that doesn’t really translate to “I care about you” in Indonesian.

I think if it's literal translation we say it in Tagalog, Nag aalala Ako sa'yo. It's the same as I'm worried about you.

😂 😭 In Vietnamese, we never say things like that, but we often say things that describe our feelings at that moment,like "i was worried to death", "where did you go, i was worried something happened to you", like that, that's why the Viet girl has to think for that long.
