@drranganchatterjee: Do you think too much comfort could be harming our mental wellbeing? In this week’s new episode of my 'Feel Better, Live More' podcast, I’m joined by psychiatrist Dr. Alok Kanojia – also known as @Healthy Gamer GG – for a fascinating conversation about modern life and mental health🧠 Throughout the episode, Alok and I explore how our increasing reliance on technology and convenience might be contributing to rising levels of anxiety, depression, ADHD and burnout – not just by what they do to us, but by what they’re training us not to do. Alok shares why he believes comfort might actually be the greatest threat to our mental health today, and how both the brain and mind begin to “rust” without regular use. This conversation is not just about mental health, it’s about reclaiming your mind.

Completely agree. I have ADD (not hyperactive) and BPD. Both equal high levels of emotional dysregulation in conjunction with exactly what this video is talking about. Emotional dysregulation is tough.

It’s not that we are losing the ability to regulate our emotions more so we are losing our ability to hold ourselves accountable and in the first place

Is it a regulatory issue or are emotions themselves the underpinning problem with humanity to begin with?

STRESS is the root cause of dysregulation. The world is a demanding place & we haven’t been taught how to manage, how to shut it off. WO healthcare, vacation, living wages were all living in a constant state of stress!

That’s why brain reorganization is so so so huge! Getting to the root and the foundation with programs like @In the Cortex is a life changer

Do you think there is no correlation with the awareness of issues but not solution, no way to fix or arrange problems? If the app doesn't work, whom do I call for there is no number? If YouTube makes mistake how do I get that issue resolved if the only contact I have is incompetent? I feel it's disingenuous to say that tech affects up so much so go out and chill but not speak to the increasing issues with some tech with no repair or solutions in sight.
