I mean, I was born in -91, right in a financial crisis after the 80’s. Then we lived through the millennial bug-scare and right after that 9/11 happened. In my late teens another financial crisis happened. Then in 2012, there was this scare about the world ending. In 2020, Covid-19 hit and in the same time yet another financial crisis. We are just not surprised any more of what is to come.

Our parents forced us outside everyday, had columbine, dc sniper, thought we were going to 💀 for Y2K, then 9/11, Katrina, and the list goes on. We’ve lived through so many historic events. We’re tired.

We literally have grown up through every modern disaster since what 92". Both bombings of the WTC and the Pentagon, countless school shootings, Aaliyah Left Eye Biggie Pac Selena even Robin Williams Mr. Rogers dying, how many hurricanes/tornadoes, not one but 2 recessions I mean I could go on. I mean we brought Steve from Blues Clues out of retirement to see if we were okay.

We watched a girl get stuck in a well, thought quicksand would be a daily threat, watched a horse die in mud, lived through Columbine and 9/11, and lost hours of our life trying to save a pixelated princess. We’re not unbothered. We’re just… buffered. 😮💨🕹️
