At our 5 day check after baby was born, midwife kindly got baby dressed after weighing. Baby pooped all over her. Safe to say I changed nappies side on after that 🤭

When hes first born and has his umbilical cord clip still on, you can fold the front of the nappy down so it gets air to it to heal still x

When changing a boy nappy always undo and open and then cover again as the cold air can make them want to wee

Turn the changing mat round, put his head at the other end so if he pees the wee ridge collects it 🤩

babys are really scrunched so if you feel like your pulling his legs a bit too much turn him on his side, helps you get the back too

Turn the mat round. Never knew it when I had mine but the “tunnel” bit at the bottom catches any accidents! Xx ps roll sleep suits top down that’s why the necks are wide xx

If they were a boy as well, I’ve learnt this with my nephew if you just leave the nappy a bit and let the cold get on and then close it quickly sometimes they do it wee

Top tip, fold the front bit in half before you stick when his cord is still on as it will reduce any irritation and less likely to cause any infections🥰xxx

When changing hun put a wet wipe in his tail and it stop him weeing in you sweet xx

Change the changing may the other way round this can stop anything coming out of the changing mat xx

When you do it for real turn the changing mat around so the bit at the top that connects is at the bottom it’ll catch any wee he decides to do

A tip for boys - open the nappy then put it back over cause when air gets to it he is no doubt gonna wee lol 😂 mum of 2 boys learnt the hard way first time round lol😂

don't forget the boy peep test 🤣 open the nappy - a little blow to make him do his wee and then cover back over for a second x
