I'm sorry but I agree with this. the problem is the addiction to the phone leads to more activity on the phone especially while driving. too many people have been killed with phone usage while driving this is very much needed

What is the “no touch law”? No touch in Massachusetts has to do with domestic violence. Massachusetts has had a hands free law since 2020. I googled Massachusetts and no touch law and this is what came up with.

Check your individual state law. The federal law, FMCSA, applies to commercial vehicles. In New York, two traffic laws apply and they both apply to engaging with a mobile phone to call, text, email, browse the internet, play games, etc. Holding a phone to your ear presumes you are making a call.

Unpopular opinion, but I’m here for it. car accidents are at an all time high… Maybe it seems contradictory because of the screens in our cars these days, but I see it as a move to try and ease the issue. May not be the perfect solution but something needs to be done.
