Nearly everyone is going for named gundams and saying they could pilot it. Give me a Leo or a Zaku and let me slowly start building up as I win. Losing would send me back to practice more. Build a menace with a buster rifle and the deathscythe camo system.

I think I’d start with the Gundam Vidar, one of the more simple IBO gundams and no extended power systems other than needing my own skill and practice. I won’t even have to use the AV limit removal. The suit has a rifle, revolvers and rapiers, and blade feet, not that bad.

First answer? Blue Destiny Unit 2. I’d go out of my way to customise the legs and shoulders for gp01 full burnern thrusters and had pipes similar to the zaku 2. By far one of my favourite one year war mobile suits, no doubt in my mind.

Gundam breaker 4 gives ya a pretty good idea on how something like that would work in a game. the skills are attached to the different parts you're using. it's actually hella fun coming up with new custom gunpla. I made on based on the idea of what if a gunpla from ibo used beam weapons

My dude I have thought about this for years. Start with the Gundam Ground Type that gets upgraded into using the Blue Destiny Unit 1, implementing psycho-frame plates into the armor and giving a destroy mode with the EXAM system, then to Unit 3, with final evolution being combining the Thunderbolt Gundam FA with the Unit 3 so it has the EXAM system, Destroy System and hiding the Trans-Am system under the backpack, with Paycho-Frame Plates in the shields so they can remote fly. Abilities EXAM Break, Destroy the Limits, Trans-Am Overdrive.

I'm gonna keep it simple and smooth and stick with the old reliable Ez8 maybe with an extra sword from an Astray. Learn to handle the basics before adding more and getting stronger.

I mean as long as there are no allies to worry about, the Wing Zero with the zero system, let it get in my head and find the optimal way to win lol. The main drawback with the 0 was in its lack of compassion, which isn't an issue in a 1v1 virtual contest

Pilot abilities would break down to training and practice. Things like Alayah Vinana/Zero sys/psycommu/etc wouldn't apply as we are not built for things like that. But you could incorporate a Haro driven system to control things like funnels/bits/extra limbs.

id like to like make a lupus rex + aerial build with a focus on using the gun bits as other melee weapons i know itd be difficult but tbf id start with the normal barbatos then build up to that

I have thought about this a lot cause I enjoyed the idea of gunpla battle. The base would be XN 00 Raiser, Strike freedom backpack (dragoon system) and destiny impulse weapons on the backpack. Main weapons on hand however will be the GN blade customised using the regular desiny wings (would be hard to imagine but I alr made it irl) and the XN 00 sword

My favorite is Rrborns Gundam but I know that I won't be able to handle controlling it's fangs or switch to it's cannon mode with instinct so I'd use a simpler one, which is the 0 Gundam

something I could think for something that deals with jibits you would have a setting for different options or what not and you could switch to it really quickly back and forth/ auto lock and shoot mode
