I saw a reddit post where someone said they only long rested TWICE by the time they got to act 3 BC they thought if they slept they'd be a mindflayer😭 LIKE HOW DO YOU ONLY REST TWICE

goblin camp was torture for me 😭 I didn't think of poisoning then, I just tried to isolate as many goblins as I could to kill them off. it was awful

To be fair, poisoning them only kills the ones drinking around Volo & puts the camp on alert, you still have to finish off the rest, including the Ogre. So it’s handy, but doesn’t bypass the need for combat completely. 👍

Killed the leaders, went off to do other stuff, came back to go to the underdark, forgot they were all still alive in the camp… yeah that first turn took almost 30 minutes 😅

my first playthrough I spent 3 irl days trying to kill all the goblins. didn't know I could poison them. and I kept dying and having to reload a ways back because I didn't realize I could fast save or just save in general.

on my most recent run, I got a Bard hireling, had them play in the middle of camp to pull a bunch of people in, then placed some fire wine barrels around. very fun solution, 10/10 highly recommend lol
