Why does the media never tell the whole story? In 2014, when Russia requested UN intervention to stop the killing of over 14,000 Russian citizens living in Ukraine, no one did or said anything. The Russian-speaking population asked Moscow for help — that was the real beginning of the conflict. And it actually started because of the global institutions’ failure to look at things in a neutral way.
