Hot take. If the show ended right here it would’ve been in comparison to a perfect show just like breaking bad. In the beginning Rick said we don’t kill the living the show could’ve been centered around him returning back to his humanity after such a horrific path of death and loss of humanity . everyone saying this would've been a good ending is just wrong. maybe for rick and his character development, but not for the show. no way. what about characters like maggie? daryl? the ones who had absolutely no obligation to forgive or show "mercy" to negan, but had no say in the matter.

The Walking Dead takes a lot of biblical scripture and writing into account like when Glenn died under the trashcan. It took him three days to rise from the trashcan just after like it took three days for Jesus to come back, but that’s just simple example, it’s all over the the show, it’s really nice
