As an ob/gyn - from the second she walks in septic. That's really the only answer. But is that what the law would say? Good question. Lawmakers think we can transplant ectopics. So they probably think we can magically have a good outcome in this scenario.

As soon as the dr realises the patients life is in danger the drs should act. I want to state drs take an oath, politicians are not drs, and should these politicians want drs to ignore the oath they took they should all sign do not treat paper work for them selves for their life span see if they are quick to sign their lives away. I don’t see why this is even a question.

Non-medical person but based on a lay person’s knowledge of the dangers of sepsis. At the point in time you have a definitive case of sepsis and cultures, and know the antibiotics aren’t helping that is the time to deliver that baby and save that momma.
