@tearsof.thesoul: I made myself smaller just to be loved by you. I stopped asking for things. I held in how I felt. I laughed even when I wanted to cry— just to keep the peace. I thought if I was easy to love, you’d stay. So I stopped being loud. I stopped being honest. I became someone quieter, softer— not because I grew, but because I was scared the real me was too much. You never asked for less of me, but you didn’t stop me either. And somehow, that hurt more. Because love shouldn’t feel like hiding.
