Y’all got a lot to say about what a step parent shouldn’t be doing but the step parent is the one paying them bills and providing food/shelter etc..how can they be responsible for all that but not discipline 🤔 not all step parent beat on their step kids but they definitely should be able to discipline a child they’re taking care of yall sound crazy

Everyone loves to say that a stepparent should not discipline the children, yet it’s perfectly acceptable for them to provide financially and offer emotional support. If you’re not causing harm to the children, there shouldn’t be an issue with a stepparent disciplining them.

My boys were literally in pull-ups and I just potty trained one when I met my husband he raised my boys and if I didn’t trust him to raise them I wouldn’t have married him. Raising a child include discipline they are all grown now and adore him he been through with them but apparently he was what they needed
