@la_nauj: The diaspora wars are tired. And we ask black Americans don’t need to feel threatened by any new immigrant and the success that they have because we’ve been here, we’ve done that. Ensure New York may be heavily Caribbean at this point, but it’s always been a hub for immigrants. It’s just someone else’s turn right now. If you truly feel strongly about it, create those spaces for the music and the culture you want to see in here, not just come and complain to the Internet. We’re not going anywhere.
